The “Pitta Revolution Culinary Competition” was held with great success on March 7th & 8th at the premises of the Cyprus Chefs Association.
The two-day competition was performed by professional Chefs from all over Cyprus, who demonstrated their creativity and talent regarding street food philosophy by using various pitta bread.
The winners of the competition received their prizes from the President of Cyprus Chefs Association Mr. Petros Gavriel and Mr. Marios Hatziroussos, a partner and sponsor of the Cyprus Chefs Association.
Chef Michalis Pisias, (Amara Hotel) was the winner of the competition and he received as the 1st place prize the amount of €2000 euro.
Chef Christina Herodotou (Cap St George Hotel) scored on the 2nd place, and she received the amount of €1000 euro.
3rd place was Chef Yiannis Papakonstantinou (Mediterranean Hotel) who received the amount of €500.
