This year the Cyprus Chef Association in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Arvani Investments Ltd organized the 19th “Gastronomia HORECA” exhibition which successfully ended this weekend.
As every time, the exhibition’s goal remained to inform and train the professionals as well as their participation in the various competitions, which have taken place during the exhibition.
Mr. Kyriacos Sotiriou, General Manager of the “Gastronomia HORECA 2019” exhibition, Mr. Giorgos Damianou, president of the Cyprus Chef Association and Minister of Tourism, Mr. Savvas Perdios welcomed the exhibition. Mr. Savvas Perdios congratulated all those who contributed in the organization of the exhibition and he emphasized that every year the attention goes not in today neither yesterday, but in tomorrow and future.
During the exhibition, various cooking, confectionery and bakery competitions for chefs and confectioners, for young professionals, for schools, colleges and teenagers were held.
Also, during the exhibition the first tasting festival Street food was introduced and the visitors had the chance to taste delicious food and sweets from 18 different companies.
