The pandemic COVID-19 has entirely plagued our planet and absorbed all efforts of our social authorities and society in order to tackle it. However, at the same time many of our fellow citizens are facing a number of health problems and they are in great need of support.
Taking into consideration this need, we as the Cyprus Chefs Association undertake all available actions in order to provide the best possible support to our fellow citizens.
In this context, we organized yesterday at the Mediterranean Hotel in Limassol, a blood donation dedicated to the memory of our member Demos Demosthenous who passed away on September 29th.
Many members and friends of our Association responded to this call and contributed to the effort of the National Health Authorities.
During the blood donation process, all COVID-19 pandemic protocols and prevention measures were followed.
The Chefs’ Association would like to thank all those who responded as well as the Mediterranean Hotel for the co-organization.
